Chloe is a licensed and board-certified acupuncturist and herbalist. As a practitioner she strives to help patients find balance, health and joy in their lives. After studying Ecology and Evolutionary Biology at the University of Colorado Boulder, Chloe decided to take her passion for public health in a unique direction. Instead of the Western medical model, which often covers up the symptoms of disease, Chloe looks to Chinese medicine to unravel the root cause of the disorder within the body to help you find sustainable health (with little to no risk of side effects).
At Southwest Acupuncture College in Boulder, Chloe completed clinics at an HIV/AIDS clinic, practiced in a cancer-care clinic and a Japanese-style acupuncture clinic and completed an additional course of study on electrical ear acupuncture (Auriculotherapy) which is an amazing way to provide needle-free treatments. After graduating, Chloe co-founded the revolutionary non profit herb clinic Urban Herbs in Denver, Colorado. Her experience running the clinic allowed her to dive into her studies and practice as an herbalist, as did a month long internship at the Heilongjiang University Hospital in Harbin, China.
Currently back home in Brooklyn, she is happily seeing patients in Manhattan and Long Island. Chloe is enrolled in a yearlong functional medicine course, which she uses to help find the root causes of modern diseases. By incorporating lab test and supplements into her practice, Chloe finds that she is able to better support her patients who struggle with gastrointestinal disorders, autoimmune diseases, thyroid problems and toxicity issues in a way that Chinese medicine has not been able to provide. Once these foundational systems of the body are functioning, patients find better health and more effective responsiveness to herbs and acupuncture.
